Newborn
When it comes to newborn sessions I love capturing every detail. From there tiny little ears to their cute little feet and hands. Capturing every little thing while they're still so tiny and new to the world. As a mother myself I look back on my daughters newborn photos constantly and just adore how squishy and tiny she was. Remembering how time seemed to go by so fast and how much I miss that tiny newborn. But I am so happy to have the images I do to look back on!
Fresh 48
These sessions are taken within 48 hours after your baby has been born. Typically done in the hospital unless home birth was done. Capturing those first few memories with your little one. It is a great way to document your birthing journey before taking your little one home. These are the one of the most special memories to capture.
Before your session
As new parents you probably aren't sure when to start booking your newborn shoot. I recommend booking it while you're still pregnant. Now you're probably thinking," what is baby comes early, or late." Don't worry, I got you covered! I will put it in my calendar as a place holder. We will be in contact often before your session. Once baby has arrived you'll text or email me letting me know baby has arrived and we will fine tune what day to do the shoot. If you don't book until baby is born thats okay! I recommend doing your newborn shoot within the first 2 weeks of life.
A typical lifestyle newborn shoot takes about 2 hours.
Day of session
On the day of your newborn session, you're probably wondering what to do. I recommend feeding baby right before coming into your session. You'll also have time to stop and feed baby during your session. Bring passi with you if baby takes one. Any memorabilia's you would like to be in the images with your newborn. The biggest thing I tell parents is to not stress. We will go at babies pace! I am here to not only photograph your precious bundle of joy but also help you relax for a few. Having a new baby is tiring. It's okay for you to sit down and relax or step away and eat something.
After your session
You're excited to see the images we created and won't to know how long it'll take. Typically it takes about 2 weeks to receive your proofed gallery. Once proofed gallery is sent, you will choose which images you'd like to have. You can pick the exact amount your package comes with, purchase individuals or the entire gallery! Once images are chosen, you will let me know and your downloadable gallery will be delivered in 48 hours.
